I live in Arizona, and we have seen a rise in abandoned and surrendered pets here, too. I think it’s probably a symptom of the inflation. For most people it’s heartbreaking to have to surrender their pet that they love so much. But, to just abandon them, is reprehensible and unnecessary.

The cost of housing and vet care, plus layoffs is the reason why this is happening. God help these dogs

Sad, 😢 these angels don’t deserve all this abuse. People should ask for help to care for their pets, remember pets are part of our family.
