His Dad is a living legend and has written words that will be sung hundreds of years from now. All Jakob had to do to be a success was to stay alive but he has done, much much more than that. He has an amazing voice (much better than Dad's) and sound and commands the stage with every note. The apple didn't fall far from the tree.
