Auch wenn es noch ein Dorf von Ninjas ist, wuchs die Bevölkerung enorm und das Leben der Ninja ändert sich langsam. Boruto Uzumaki, der Sohn Narutos , tritt der Ninja Akademie bei, um die Wege der Ninja zu erlernen. Seine Mitschüler sehen ihn nur als "Sohn des Hokage", doch seine Passion und sein Charakter blasen alle Vorurteile bald davon.
