I was fortunate to have been born there (San Francisco) and lived there 50 plus years. Still miss the city, ocean and the people. Many wonderful memories; Fillmore Auditorium, Winterland, Playland, Ocean Beach, Haight Ashbury, the Golden Gate Bride, Golden Gate Park, the 9th Avenue friends, Twin Peaks, and 1, 000s of wonderful people who passed through my life. My kids, and grandkids save for one were born there too. The variety of food; the culture.

Pulled into South Beach to service a boat one day. Heard the mic check from AT&T Park. Didn't think anything of it. Then I heard Steve's voice come floating across the water...grabbed a gyro and fries from Frankies and then had to explain to my employer why I was there for well over an hour when it should have only been about a 10-minute stop before heading over to Pier 39. He totes understood and I was still paid for the entire time. How awesome is that? And dammit, but I do miss my City By the Bay...

Last person to discover YouTube, Oh well: My home town, love the visuals, except we used to joke, if foreign visitors came, there wasn't really a Golden Gate Bridge. Just fog. Wonderful nostalgia song. Wonderful song.

I think I heard a slowed-down version of this song on the radio when I was a kid. In San Francisco, we had/have a station called 'KOIT - 96.5'. I could NOT sleep until Love Songs After Dark came on, at around 8pm. However, if this song came on, I was instantly falling asleep. Such a great song!
