Idk why yall hating on Bernadette when the whole point of this episode was that she was the one who was overwhelmed and he even said that he hadn't been pulling his weight- which given what we know about him, he never really was. So the playhouse was his way of giving her room to breathe- after all she didn't even want kids. He did.

Being a parent is the hardest job ever. It seems fun when you see a good mannered 7 year old you don't know what it's like the first 365 days of that child's life.

When my kids started arguing, if I was able to, I would grab a book, and go climb a tree in my backyard. I'd listen, and when they were quiet for 10 minutes, I would go back inside, and they would be playing like best friends. I simply got tired of the piddling little sibling arguments. I couldn't do it Everytime, so I made sure and did so, when it was a hard day for me.
Usually, distraction would work. Or, I'd give them extra chores. 😊

Good for Bernadette. Men when they don’t want go to go home and face the children go to a bar. Instead, she goes to a Playhouse in her backyard just for some peace and quiet so she can decompress before she comes in the door. Actually, really smart and healthy. The negative comments toward Bernadette in this feed blow my mind.
