Right from the beginning American pickers really put a good and very interesting show together . Always finding the past in our history and they share there findings in a very unique way by presenting how the old antiques were used and the knowledge they have are passed on to the viewers and they still ask about the history of items they purchase from the collector that have or had special meaning . One thing that is very special Mike won't ever pay a lesser price for an item . He will always tell the person it's worth more than what your asking . That really helped the show in letting people know they would never be cheated from a fair price .
