Knowing and working in several languages can make a programmer more capable as the different mind sets make you more capable. I agree sequential focus.

Hi, do you think iOS development is good path for full time freelancing? Lot of ppl saying best choice is web dev but I'm really enjoying swift. How is the job market?

As a new iOS that’s been having a difficult time trying to break in to the tech world, that twitter thread of success stories and the article for getting your first job is just what I needed. Thanks Sean 🙏

Hey Sean, I have a two question that are a little off topic but anyway
1. How do I compile my app and have it without it expiring after a little while without having to publish it to the App Store
2. How can I get keyboard events without the app running in the foreground (macOS)

Little error In the vid you say it's easier to write good code and easier to read it later

Had to code with swift and xcode for an assignment. I am now more determined to never support Apple. Had to buy a Mac because xcode is incompatible with Virtual machines and cloud computing.
Then had to buy an iphone because you can't test video recording with a Mac camera.

The only affordable apple devices that are compatible with xcode are broken second hand devices.

Paid $600 for 2 broken devices.

Also, the app I'm building will only be compatible with other overly priced (or broken) devices.

And finally, Steve Jobs got rich off Chinese child slaves.
