Boxer Rocket Cargo Trike at London Bike Show

The Boxer Rocket is undoubtedly one of the world’s most beautiful pedal cycles. Its design was inspired by the Hindenburg Airship, Flash Gordon and Jules Verne. Our intention was to produce something that would make the riding experience for both its child occupants and the adult rider one that would make every day a real thrill. The Boxer Rocket is made of lightweight aluminium and is designed and built here in our Dorset UK factory. The Rockets chassis geometry provides an exceptionally smooth ride and its leaning frame ensures that cornering at speed is safe as the rider’s centre of gravity is tilted over into the centre of the turn.

The Rocket comes in two models, an electric version with a 36V 11.4Ah battery and 250W motor and a non-electric version with 24 speed gears and a 'crawler gear' for steep hills. The electric version is limited to 250W for UK and European road legislation but can be increased up to 1000W for international markets.

The cargo box is designed to carry four children and its reclining seats allow the children to fall asleep without their necks being strained. The seats also fold flat to make a bed should you want to give your child a proper bed when stationary. The nosecone has a lockable storage locker which can hold 4 helmets with ease and a lot more. The battery is also contained in a lockable storage locker under the back seat.

The Rocket has a very high level of safety features which include a complete motorcycle lighting package including turn signal indicators, hi and low beam headlight, a horn and a rear stop/tail light. These are all controlled from a single easy to use 'cluster' on the handlebars.

A USB port is provided for charging or powering mobile devices.

The Rockets braking system uses the Magura 'Big Twin' disc brake with 180mm front rotors making stopping rapid.

A rain cover can quickly be deployed that covers the four children from the elements.
