The factors that make those cars "bad" are ridiculous. A car from 1918 without A/C - thats unacceptable. A Duesenberg costing as much as a house in Beverly Hills is using too much gas, also unacceptable. And a 1950s land yacht is difficult to find a parking space for, who would have thought. All those cars in Leno's collection are marvels of automotive history, else he would not have bought them.

1957 Roadmaster is one of the prettiest cars of the 50s. And any genuine Imperial or 300 is perfect for me.

On watching this video, I have come to the conclusion that the content creator has limited knowledge of automobiles in general and of the significance of the subject cars in particular. All of these cars have interesting mechanical or historical aspects and are worthy of appreciation. They are not bad by any way. I also don't apreciate the random pictures of engines inserted in this video that dont match the engine being discussed.

The Chevrolet Nomad is not part of Jay Lenos collection. It belongs to one of this employees. The Duesenburg that you showed was called the 20 Grand is once again not part of his Collection, it is part of the Peterson Collection.

I could only stand the first 60 seonds before I paused; when the voice says a 1941 fire engine was built in the early '40s, I immediately thought of the kid who has to write a 500 word paper, restating the obvious as often as possible.

Whom ever judged these cars knows nothing about American automotive history. Smaller cars were sometimes purchased as a second car for the housewife. And nobody gave one 💩 SHIT about fuel economy until 1973 with the fuelcrisis? I’d be ashamed for Jay Leno to watch this…… embarrassment of a video!!!!

Many of these cars like the Duesenbergs were made for the very rich.
Gas mileage was irrelevant for virtually all of these vehicles.
