And that's why when we were looking at a Tesla for my Dad who does cross country trips was a definite no cause it would add over an entire day to each trip due to having to stop to charge so much.

Unless some new battery technology is figured out/ discovered this will always be the case with EVs. They’re fine for short trips around town, but long distance and towing forget it. Glad the government is trying to ram them down our throats.

I’m waiting for someone to “EV compatible” trailers. Functionally the same thing as a normal one but with a giant battery in the floor and costs 4 times as much. All so you have decent range when pulling.
