why is the azimuth useful ? how is it used ?

Not all azimuth starts at north..
Our Azimuth starts from south
Some popular countrys azimuth starts from north thats why alot of Youtubers who teaches stuff like this always say azimuth is from north at least address that matter to make it clear

Hi Dear Sir. is there any difference b/w Whole Circle Bearings and Azimuths. it seems they both are same from video. if there is any difference please help me with that.
