The UC Advanced Research Computing (ARC) Center presents an Introduction to HPC to train new users on basic commands needed to schedule and submit jobs on the ARCC2 supercomputing cluster. An account on the cluster is a necessary prerequisite to access the HPC resources.

The topics covered include:

-creation of batch submission files for SLURM
-submitting to CPU/GPU nodes via the SLURM scheduler
-monitoring jobs via SLURM
-requesting interactive compute nodes
