It's kind of funny remembering a game you played as a kid, looking up a longplay, and realizing that you never even passed the first thirty minutes

I still have this game for PS2, I appreciate it because they made a 3D adventure with interesting mechanics and not a basic platformer

I've played this game when I was at the Kids World Daycare along time ago!

I feel like the best movie games are the ones that are straight forward and just focus on the movie storyline. This isn’t one of those. Besides the annoying constant equipment switching, there are also blueprints to be found which upgrade your maximum health, inventory or energy. Unfortunately, you’ll require Inventory level 2 to upgrade to Health 2, as Inventory 1 doesn’t hold enough materials for the upgrade. It’s easy to miss one of the blueprints such as the inventory one, as they are all hidden. I feel like this is a bit of a flaw. The game isn’t difficult and can easily be completed without max upgrades, but still. There’s also something about the gameplay itself that just makes this game feel largely unenjoyable. The areas in the game are too large and usually repeat the same concept. Anyways, opinions may vary.

I dont know why but the storage room was the place that most got sticked into my memory since the time I played as a kid. That music...I could sing along with it even tough I haven`t heard it for years.

Hey wait a minute... that HUD menu? Auto-jump on ledges? This is a Mario 64-structured Zelda game... except with levels you can't enter again...

I usually play the game first or watch this gameplay before watching the movie.

33:41 Well, I suppose that answers the question I've had for years about trying to use that entrance.

You can hit the sarge ants in the belly with the charge ball glove once you’ve dug under them and they flip on their backside. Also, you could have used the shockwave normal move to clear out the debris. Finally, you can actually hit enemies when not in target mode if you get close enough to be in attack range. 🤷🏻‍♂️👍🏻
