Fix OptiFine java.io.FileNotFoundException Install Error

The folder you delete should match both the OptiFine and Minecraft version you are trying to install. If you are confused or unsure, check the name of the installer file. It includes the OptiFine and Minecraft version.

There's another, rarer, issue that also has a java.io.FileNotFoundException install error. If these steps don't work for you, try going to the .minecraft folder (paste %AppData%\.minecraft into run) and deleting the launcher_profiles.json file with the launcher closed.

what do i do if when i try to open the run command it doesnt pull up a file it says how would u like to open this file? and it pulls up things other than file explorer?
