Wow Ivan! Those carrots are beauties. I've got some Oxheart ones to sow next year and I'm trying some over winter ones in my small wooden greenhouse. Fingers crossed they'll be good 😊

ivan it was cold last night it was 5c here but we use candles and a mirror it reflects the heat we use a couple of them from pound land £2 for 40 hours of heat not bad hey ive been turning the garden over this afternoon how ever we have more rain sunday night going into monday till 12pm bloody pain i need to try and get some work in its hard at them moment im hoping it will get better

they have have come out well i have some pots that are great for carrots there long and slim so we get a good size and there quite long

don't be afraid to leave carrots out in the frost, if anything they usually get sweeter!

I’ve noticed frost on my new rubber roof the last two mornings here in NW Lancashire. It’s a bitter cold wind out of the bit of sun we have had today. Did you grow the round carrots from seed or plants Sean ? I will definitely try those they have grown brilliantly. 👌

Definitely getting cooler now Ivan, put heating on last night for a bit. Ya know those carrots are fab, I'm going to give those a go next year, did you buy them ready done Ivan. Picked last of my tomatoes today, can't believe it's October next week already 😮

greenhouse registered 1.3 last night, so yep cold, but afternoon 28..Definitely dropping quickly..

Hi Ivan Can you pick peppers when there green are they still good to eat
