Palladium Boots - Are they actually intended for heavy use?

Watch the video for my experience. I'm sure you can find someone with a different opinion, but these are my results after actually using them heavily for over a year and a half. Using boots in -30F all the way to rain and wet conditions, to very hot and high humidity isn't easy on them.

I've had a pair for around 4 years and they are still in perfect condition. They are durable and breathable. My feet never smell bad. A con is that they are very slippery in metal surfaces, like wet escalators, so watch out.
I can't recommend their leather products though, those made my feet stink.

I've had my pair of Leather Pampa WP for around 7 years. Put so many miles on it, i worked the treads completely smooth. Just bought myself a new pair and i can finally put the old pair to rest. Highly recommend 👍🏼

I've had the same pair of waterproof Palladiums for over 10 years and the quality never ceases to amaze me.

my palladium around 8 years old now and its my daily shoes. yes i only have a pair of shoes LOL
i walked alot, usually around 4km from bus stations to my home.
the longest walk with this shoes around 10km and it still comfortable, its not hurt and light.
i love the rubber it not even damage after 8 years because i tend to drag my feet when i walk.
my other boots before this like my docmart already lost some of its buttom just for months.
definitely the BEST boots in the world. the durability is unmatch.

I like the style of this boot. Since I bought mine they have come out with a waterproof style. I had to put inserts in mine to make them more comfortable, but if you have wider feet like I do it will take time to break them in. Sadly, I haven't been able to break mine in as I don't last more than a few hours in them. The length fits fine, but the width just is a little tight. They did not have wider sizes nor do I think they were offered when I first bought mine. Still, they are nice...I just have to break them in.

Paladium built the boots for the French foreign legion, one of the toughest fighting forces in the world. The boots have been used from deserts to jungles for generations. They're legendary.

Just to tell you, I worked construction with them for a year and some change and they lasted, they got a hole in the side and I didnt wanna fix them. Yeah they last.

I have the same experience actually... I bought them as fashion boots, but they seem to be very durable. One downside is when you walk a lot on asphalt, the rubber starts squeaking after a while. That can be annoying.

I think from the way I lace mine it causes the toe cap/toe box to rip. I have had multiple pairs and they rip the same way but arguably I do swear by these when it comes to light breathable quick drying boots. The grip even on loose dirt is great. I just wish they wouldn't split

Very helpful review thanks! Do you remember what model these boots are? Might get a pair for myself

Good boots overall. I mainly bought them for their canvas material, which I expected to be somewhat coolerand breathable in summer than leather. Unfortunately this is a high boot that you have to tie to the very top, which makes your feet feel very hot very fast, despite the canvas. So that makes them a bit problematic for summer for me and that's disappointing. :(

I've worn palladium boots for years and love them, but I would NOT trust them for hiking. The glue always tends to fail around the toe cab after a couple of years. I tend to treat them as disposable and replace them every year or so

Is it possible to remove the branding, like the big cicle brand thing on the side?

Palladium boots were made for Indochina and the French Foreign Legion signed the contract in the 50s last century. Palladiums are some classics 🙂👍
