Tutorial 3. Reading a Wav File in Python

Wave Files are read using the struct and wave modules. The two modules are part of standard Python library. I also use the scipy io module to show another method of reading into the more efficient numpy arrays.

a wave file does not contain 2 channels, it contains an arbitrary number of channels, indicated in the header
