I know someday I'm going to see my own children off and feel exactly the same bittersweet feeling my mum must have felt when I left and I'll be forever sorry. I will always be sorry for not having spent nearly enough time with my mum as I should have but life intervenes and there's University or work and at some point we have to leave... Even if we don't want to. Or rather, we do, but we don't.
