UnHow to install H1 LED headlight lightbulb in 04 WRX

In this video, I install H1 LED low lights in my 04 WRX. I show the step by step process even a few mistakes I made. The before and after are in this video at the end. If you are hesitating to install LED lights because its too difficult this video will show you how simple it is. Of course each different type of car is going to have different headlight mounts.

I also had trouble getting the cover off. What did you have to do with the screwdriver around 2:46?

If it was me I would replace those headlights first So that way there aesthetically more pleasing to the eye and deliver more light out put

How is the housing sealed with the LED installed? Does the LED have an oring or rubber washer?

Those metal brackets that hold the halogens always break off when I install LED. Doing it again today on a lgt. We'll see if I can get it to work with the LED this time. Yours seemed to.

How many times have you washed the inside of your headlights since the mount??
There’s a reason there’s a dust cap!!!
It’s like asking for trouble...

That's so stupid haha. Got myself a pair of these was Tryna figure it out for ages why it wouldn't work all I had to do was swap the wires around. Good video!

So it's like on high beam all the time, the bulb now has no protection against weather conditions and you now blind the oncoming vehicles.

Ouch! Restore your headlight lens. Do it yourself, cost a few bucks.
