Rewatching your old videos, just realized that why the allen bolt was short, it’s because the hardware they provided was rivnuts 😅😅😅

wow! Tim did a great job cutting looks clean! But was he just test fitting the flares ? because those are rivnuts/nutserts they get inserted in to the hole and then get squished in using a insert tool. that would fix the fitment issue of the short allen head bolt he had.

Did Tim cut out the side of your car to make the fenders fit?

ill read comments after this... curious what you did to seal that inner wheel well after it was cut. normally you bend, weld, and cut but I doubt you did that will zero excess sheet metal. Just curious.

Just wondering, did you install the hardware/rivnuts properly or just thread them on from behind like a normal nut and bolt?

Hey Dustin I'm really interested in those fender flares for my 2016 sti I wanna run the same 18x11 but don't wanna cut into my fenders. Did you have to cut them to fit the rim and tire or was it just because you wanted to slam the car? Also was the car previously lowered or stock height? I live in Louisiana and if there are any good suspension shops you recommend it would also be appreciated.

Thanks a ton Peyton,

Stupid questions, I still don't understand. Why do people have to cut the metal if the flares are bolt on?
