Oh damn. At 2:59, they literally show us the door of Oswin's cell through her eyestalk. This is how you set up a good twist. Give us all the clues so that if we guess it, we feel smart and if we don't, the episode still has rewatch value because we can pick up on the details that we missed.

I view the Prime Minister of the Daleks as an attempt to subvert a second Dalek Civil War. Makes the most sense. Basically a sort of demi-Davros who could do for them what they would usually have him do.

Interesting note The Dalek Supreme in this episode is the same one from Victory of the Daleks and also is the Dalek that talks to Doctor before his regeneration in The Time of the Doctor after he killed the Prime Minister Dalek when it went insane after remembering the Doctor
