I grind the helm so much in lightfall to the point where I have double or triple 100 stats on each subclass and hoard hundreds of 66+ spiky armor rolls. Artifice armors definitely give you more room to buildcraft while still having great stats, but you honestly don't need it. Sure it's cool to have T37+ stats, but it's even cooler to not have to bash your head over and over again in dungeons just to get a usable artifice armor. If you are planning to pick one up, wait for class item artifice (hopefully xur sells it) or a really good armor piece (65+ stats and spiky stats with 20+ points on resilience).

He didn't have it last week, but the artifice slot on this lot just doesn't come close to making up for the average at best point allocation.

New/returning players especially would be far better off just focusing armour using Pale Heart or Echoes engrams, and definitely not burning that many coins on them.

Is there another way to get artifice armor is TFS besides master dungeons? I tried loading up the weekly dungeon and there is no option for master difficulty

Careful, you can have a 58-59 armor piece with a great stat distribution that makes it worth it. Don't be so eager to delete without checking Loadout possibilities w/ DIM, for example.

But…poo rolls? Strange coins drop from ritual stuff mostly from onslaught. I spend them all every Friday and I’m capped usually the next day.

the main reason why i've never cared nor have bothered with xur is because the stat spikes are absolute garbage even compared to world drops

Artifice armor is completely useless unless it's 68 roll. It's whole point is maxing out your stats with +3, but you don't get that bonus unless you have 68, otherwise it just takes away from the bonus. Unless the distribution is absolutely perfect, but it would still need to be at least 66 for me.
