Robin Zander - In This Country (Over the Top)(1987)

Lincoln Hawk (Stallone) is a struggling trucker who arm wrestles on the side to make extra cash while trying to rebuild his life. After the death of his wife, he tries to make amends with his son who he left behind 10 years earlier. Upon their first meeting, his son does not think too highly of him until he enters the World Arm Wrestling Championships in Las Vegas. His hope is to receive the grand prize of $100,000 and an expensive current custom semi-truck and thus start his own trucking company.

My childhood movie, my father is a truck driver and it's because of this movie that I'm a truck driver too.I got so inspired when we would go on trips with dad and that's how I developed the love for trucks.I just love the father and son relationship ♥️and the great soundtrack.

I appreciate everything about this movie: plot, script, cast and soundtrack. It's nice to see how the father and son relationship develops. My dad was also a truck driver, now retired for 15 years, and often when this movie is shown on TV we think of those moments we spent together on trips across America, which I did in the summer after school was over. Today at 53 I see this movie with my fifteen year old son.
