100% agree with you on the “couldn’t care less” phrase… it’s just logic

Nice review as always.
I fully agree about the liner lock release location. Not only is it too low on the handle to be comfortable and easy to access but the safety concern you outline is very real.
Not to mention the access to the spydy hole being occluded for the spydy flick makes this particular Spydy a no go for me.
Unfortunate because i do like the overall size and compact footprint of it.
Oh well. Maybe a Slyzz will pop up.

I personally like this knife. Very interested to see your take on it. I agree the lock is way too low.

I was just creeping on this. It is rounded. Pics didn’t pick up on that at all. So nice.

Greetings! Another great video. I agree with lanyard holes. Good for fixed blades but why on a pocket knife? Unnecessary

At least a few comments on the lock access position, not sure if someone said it already, I didn't notice anyone specifically saying it, but looks like the thumb hole opener would have to be lower for the lock access to be higher. Assuming it is ideal for thumb hole to be that high then lock access would have to follow in the position on handle it seems.

I guess the liner-lock is so low because they want it to line up with the spyder-hole.

It's an interesting knife fun to carry every once in a while but it's one of the knives in my collection that's more form over function. Normally I'm carrying a mini griptillian or a mini Bugout. Thanks for the shoutout and your take on the knife very objective and fair review.

I need one of these just so I can use the name to sucker people into a dees nuts joke.
"You want a Spyderco Pattadese?"
Pattadese nuts.
It'll take some tweaking on the pronunciation, but I'm all about modifying knives to work better no matter what aspect I need to change.

Building on the Spyderco lineup have you or could go over the autonomy h1 in orange or black with the serrated blade ?

Is it possible that it is $30 to import a knife from Europe, or the labor cost are that much higher?

In terms of spyderco I like the compression lock better.
Pattadese looks slicey as...doesn't seem fidget friendly.
I'm more into the pm2 tanto, the canis, and the yojimbos.

This one, along with the Sage 1, Pochi, and Swayback, is on sale today directly from Spydie at 70% discounts (what should the original prices be? lol).
