Years ago I did the same thing that you now have done. They were keep more of our money and making interest off of that. I now pay like you are planning on doing.

My goal this year is to be a month ahead like you are, that way in case any bill adjustments needs I have time to figure it out

I also did budget billing. When I moved I got a bill for over $600. So I don't recommend doing it either.

So far I have had a positive experience with Budget Billing, but each company is different

I looked at paing so much every week, their calculations had me paying more a month then my bill ever was. and I would prefer that cash in my pocket, not sitting in the bank account of some company

Your utility company does it very silly. Where I am they review it once a year and you can pay the difference at one time or divide out by 12 which increases your new bill amount. The way your company does it is definitely pointless. Great video!
