Mastering recursive operations the LowCodeNoCodeWay in Power Query by Imke Feldmann

Power Query allows you to do lots of useful things with just the UI. But for operations where references to previous results have to be made, you need to resort to recursive functions that – so far – require a lot of manually-written code. Think about Bill-of-materials, paginating web queries, dynamically solving hierarchical structures, running totals, dynamically adding columns, and much more.

In this session, Imke will present a new technique that largely bypasses the need for coding and allows you to click through the UI as before. Learn how easy it can be to design all kinds of recursive tasks using Lists, Generate or List, Accumulate in Power Query.

Speaker Bio:
Imke Feldmann is Microsoft MVP and works as a freelance consultant for Microsoft’s Power Platform. She has also gained large experience in the Finance area from working as Controller and Finance Manager for more than 15 years before. She is a Microsoft certified expert for data analysis for Power BI and Excel (MCSA-BI) and a Microsoft certified trainer (MCT) for Power BI. Although based in Germany, she gives training and develops solutions for clients all over the world, onsite or remote.
