VLOG 89, Narrowboat fit out = PAINTING THE STERN, TILLER & GUNWALE

Hello everyone, Sorry this vlog is out a bit late today, I was still editing it this morning. In this episode we finish more of the paintwork on the outside. This time it's the Tiller, Stern and the Gunwales that get a bit of attention. Hope you enjoy 👍

More of a girls best friend, good job that it was only a "simple" pattern this one was doing granddad's head in. To get right into those holes you could have used one of those very long handed angled brushes made for painting behind radiators. Another job well done.

The battle against rust is already happening, OMG. The grandkids are doing a great job and given a chance to help out is so cute to watch!
The tiller turned out great, continuing the decoration style beautifully.

You guys have the patience of a Saint to do all the fancy patterns but think grandad was loosing the will to live . 😂😂 keep up the great work by the way are boat is on its way over here to middlewich via truck from Czech Republic 🇨🇿 due here by Wednesday up at wincham wharf Northwich then move it to Middlewich to have week long PDI check done and sign writing done then it's ours .😃😃

Hi nanny and grandad
I love your tiller its great, I did our barge pole a year ago red white and green barber pole style spiral. It was a real pain to mask as its a banister rail and has a flat on it so the tape is thrown off angle every time its wrapped around 😳. Great vlogs love watching the progress.

I don’t know how you have the patience to do that on the tiller. Looks great though. I hope you have plenty of touch up paint. I’m surprised how much of it I have needed, even on the tiller. Boat looks great and hopefully you’ll be cooking on gas for Christmas somewhere but The marina.
