THREE FESTIVE TREATS TO TRY IN STOCKHOLM THIS SEASON
I’ve been around town to try more seasonal treats and these are some of my favorites. Make sure to snatch them before it’s too late and if you’re only going to try one of these, make sure it’s the saffron semla because that one is absolutely divine!
Featured treats:
1. Saffron semla from Bergstrands Bageri – I featured this one last year as well and this is one of very few items that I thought that I had to enjoy one more time, and also feature it again simply because it’s so delicious. I find it better than a regular Swedish semla and the flavors tie together perfectly. It’s a must try!
2. All my favorites at Mr Cake – This place is a staple for me but I simply couldn’t decide what I love more. The seasonal saffron sugarlick and saffron pear donut are both delicious, but the Red Velvet Croissant is my all time fave. I also love the idea of their Christmas cake but I know it’s super heavy to eat but very pretty to look at. I think you need to come here for yourself and find your personal Christmas favorites.
3. The Gingerbread iced latte at Bröd & Salt – If you’re looking for something sweet and simple, the gingerbread iced latte at Bröd & Salt is the treat for you. It’s like an iced coffee but a bit more festive and fun. They also have a saffron iced latte which I might not have time to try, but it does sound like a very promising idea!
Which one of these treats would you like to try? Let me know in the comments and also let me know if you want to see a part three of my favorite Christmas treats around Stockholm!
