As a sceptical watcher with a tendency to negativity, I see the "ABC"-Initiative (Angular with Bazel and Closure) ... but what I really see is the death of Angular CLI (at least in its current form) and a separation from the rest of the JavaScript ecosystem (which is the foundation of the Angular CLI).
