She says it’s “lame” because she knows without her parents, she’d never have made it in Hollywood. She is not a good actress. If she were talented, she would probably acknowledge the privilege of having famous grandparents and parents but nope. She’s bad at acting and she knows it.

I really like her... but she did say when her dad cut her off because she went into acting, she did some modelling jobs and just asked her mom for money.

That's one of the serious privileges nepo-babies have... most 20-something kids seriously struggle to support themselves while going on auditions.

Even getting 'cut-off' didnt leave her without support.

Her being "cut off" was so symbolic. Financial struggle was a once in a lifetime adventure for her. But for most of us it's a severe struggle. Her grandmother is famous, her parents, her stepfather and siblings all famous. Noone can believe her cut off is as realistic as ours. And to be honest, her acting is lame. Every role is with same voice, same manner, same facial expressions. There is no feeling and changing for the role. If there was no her family, she wouldn't have those roles. They put her on the map, and she still is in bad movies.

I can understand why it would be boring. I mean if you're into film/tv you already knew your fav actor was related to SOMEBODY. I think it really became a thing bc there's this weird thing with the younger gen... they think they are the origins of the universe. learning about familial ties and acting dynasties/legacies is shattering to that reality. makes sense.

Her mum is Melanie Griffith. Of course its annoying for someone calling out your privilege! It's almost impossible to make ot in Hollywood so many thousands auditioning every day. Yet she made it because of her family connections. Thats a nepo baby right there. I struggle to take them seriously.
