I MOVED TO EL PASO FROM NEW YORK CITY IN 2014. LIVED IN THE JUNGLE 48 YEARS. WAS WORKING AS A TOUR GUIDE AND MET A SUPPOSEDLY NICE GIRL FROM EL PASO, HA! THAT'S HOW I GOT HERE. ANYWAY, I LOVE EL PASO. THE VIEWS FROM THE MOUNTAINS IS CAPTIVATING AND EL PASO IS CLEANER AND MORE BEAUTIFUL THEN NEW YUCK 🤣. I WOULD NEVER GIVE UP EL PASO FOR NEW YORK. IM AN EL PASOEN NOW. Born and raised in El Paso TX, its grown alot, but more quiet than before the pandemic. I was a security guard for sun metro buses, downtown busy crowded. I left in 2010, to the grand canyon, now i work for Carlsbad Caverns National Park. Love shopping at the fountains, love the malls.

I used to go every year for about 7 years running. It really is a beautiful city and full of Latin culture. But it gets blistering hot in the summertime and it can be a bit tough to communicate there sometimes if you don't speak Spanish.
