Slash, is a British-American musician, songwriter, and record producer from Stoke-on-Trent, England. He is best known as the lead guitarist of the American hard rock band Guns N' Roses, with whom he achieved worldwide success in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Slash has received critical acclaim and is considered one of the greatest guitarists in history.

Tom Morello is an American musician, singer, rapper, songwriter, actor, and political activist. He is best known for his tenure with the rock band Rage Against the Machine and then with Audioslave. Between 2016 and 2019, and for his unique and creative guitar playing style, which incorporates feedback noise, unconventional picking, and tapping, as well as heavy use of guitar effects. Morello is also known for his socialist political views and activism; creating the Nightwatchman offered an outlet for his views while playing apolitical music with Audioslave. He was ranked number 40 in Rolling Stone magazine's list of the "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time"

the intention of this video is to show the incredible talent of both guitarists, through different styles, in order to create inspiration or opinions about the guitarists, not necessarily comparing them. I don't have a favorite, both are legends in a unique way in my opinion, but if you have a favorite, let me know who it is in the comments below... Slash or Tom Morello!?
which guitarists would you like to see in the next videos?

Slash: 00:00 - 02:33
Tom Morello: 02:34 - 5:00

Shit that always impresses me about to Tom is that he manages his pedals’ sound FX. He doesn’t have a tech guy stomping pedals behind curtains. You can see him moving from side to side activating his stuff. Both dudes are amazing.

Slash has got your OG just flawless fast amazing CLASSIC guitar Playing.

And then there’s Tom. Innovative. Shocking. Creative. Downright genius. Truly an outstanding musician. You can tell he’s having fun when he’s playing.

I used to think Tom was only good at making weird noises until I experienced his Guitar Hero challenge. Holy shit! Nothing I had heard from him before prepared me for the shredfest he delivered. Slash's challenge was equally mind-blowing, but I was expecting that. Both are simply amazing musicians.

These two are great guitarist but they're two completely different genres Slash's hardrock Tom Morello is heavy metal and nu metal you can't really compare to guitars from different genres they both have their own unique way of playing guitar which means they're both good in their own categories of The Rock

Considering they are both roxk guitarists, both from a similar era, similar age etc, it is hard to overstate just how different they actually are! Basically incomparable, both amazing in their own right. And both responsible for some incredible music.

Impossível comparar esses dois gigantes. Estilos, técnicas e guitarras diferentes. No som de Slash, ele é o cara. No som de Morello, ele é o cara. Ambos, demais...

Tom Morello is a fantastic guitarist who's more classically trained than you'd think, but I couldn't hear 75% of what Slash was playing in this video. Lol the jury is still out for me. And please Tom, you're a good enough player, you don't need all that delay...

I don’t know who told Slash that taking down his distortion makes him sound better live. It’s something that I’ve been seeing a lot since I started following his live performances with Myles and then when he rejoined Guns. This video is the perfect example of how that is NOT the way to go. His tone is so weak you could cut it with a feather; in fact, Richard’s rhythm playing sounds a lot tastier in the back, because we can actually hear it and discern what he is doing clearly. C’mon Saul, Les Pauls are meant to RIP speakers apart!
