I toured Europe with an AD200 and a Tiny Terror 500 as a backup years ago. After about three shows the AD200 stayed in the van and the Terror was my main go to for the rest of the tour. Both sounded great, Terror had the headroom and was so much lighter but you could also dial in the grit. Great playing and sick sounds

I used to have a MK3 and I definitely agree, the AD200 is the bomb. Super simple, can’t make it sound bad! It’s cool that they took the stuff from the MK2 Terror Bass and put it on the big guy. The way the AD200 overdrives is second to none, it has to be heard in person to really appreciate it. It’s like harmonic junk food!

well it doesn't hurt either that this is one of the best sounding 115 cabs out there!

I love Orange gear. I've been a fan ever since seeing Wishbone Ash live in the 70's using it. I would love to have an AD200 although it's way more than I need for the kind of gigs I do. Back in the 70's and 80's I used Orange 120 heads for bass and they worked great with a 4x12" cab.

They should make a 30W mini version. Like Ashdown CTM-30. All tube but way lighter for home use. Mini amps are all the rage now.

I remember checking out an orange stack about 20 years ago with a 4x10 and 1x15. It was too expensive for me but that sound was the absolute pinnacle for me and even smoked the ampeg stack I tried A/B.

Yep. You can't argue that it doesn't sound good. Heavy beast though, with my middle-aged back, I can only do mini-amp heads now.

Check out traynor, it is in the shade but sounds great.

I don't use an amp (only a headphones one), I don't need an amp, but this amp and the 115 cab (both in orange) are my dream rig

My stereo rig is an AD200 with an Emperor 4x12" cab loaded with Eminence Legends on the left side, and a Green Matamp Bass 200 and a Fender cab with 2x15" Eminence Neo Bass Lite speakers on the right side.

But...if I had more money and an excuse to blow it....

I would have 2 Darkglass Microtubes 900 amps powering two 2x12" Darkglass cabs on the left, and a Fender Super Bassman 300 powering a custom 3x15" Emperor cabinet (in cherry red with houndstooth fabric cover) loaded with Legends.

Damn now I gotta copy off Lars fingerings and learn that Stairway intro on bass, just for the sake of impressing and humorously entertaining fellow musicians haha. Anyone have a bass tab of that!?

Man, should have played the Rickenbacker distorted as well!!! 😍

No doubt this is pretty great. But the thing is, Lars Lehmann can make a washbtub bass sound amazing.
