My teenage son is our chief DIY-er and he says the most important skills he's learned are 1. Squirt it with WD40 and 2. If all else fails, whack it with a hammer. It makes me chuckle when you do those things too! Great job on the toaster, thanks for sharing

The glassy crispy stuff is mica, a mineral. it was also used for little windows in old stoves and ovens.as a sort of glas. Very fire resistent.

Hello I didn't think you'd be able to restore this one due to all the rust and broken and missing parts. You really are very talented and clever at being able to do electric elements and make screws and bolts etc. The restoration was really interesting to watch, I love your videosthey are brilliant. The end result is magnificent the antique toaster maker looks really fabulous well done. Amanda xx

My two favorite parts.. 8:30 when you cleaned that heating element mess then at 17:38 when the frame went flying you you did the human thing! Love it!

I don’t know what it is about the sandblasting but I find it so satisfying.

Parabéns. Trabalho super.
A brincadeira do uso da resistência velha pegou a mim sim. Acreditei que iria fazer reaproveitamento.

Sucesso!!!!

Magnificent job you did restoring that toast maker. By the way, I was wondering how you were able to find new heating elements for that antique toast maker. I bet they were hard to find for that old appliance. Anyway, it looks much better and it works like a charm too. Excellent work.
