@26:20 a glass rod can be used in place of a funnel. I appreciate you clarifying acronyms multiple times. Bravo. Makes skipping around or only half paying attention much easier. Just because you live it does not mean your audience does, good on you for recognizing this.

Love this topic for conversation ❤ wishe this was talked about more.
Tried and tested for "centuries" is a type of long running study that is as valid as any other.
Thank you, too cool.

Wow, Thank you. I made my first batch in 2022, it finished in July of that year. I learned using the quart/2 quart jar method. I ended up with 2 quarts (half gallon) of each nutrient. needless to say I still have most of it. I ended up with some life changes that prevented me from using the inputs 'til this year.
Now I'm refreshing everything I learned so I can make use of this wonderful method of farming, and my aged OHN.

Your vodka math had to been done twice due to that not being a half gallon. True, a handle is referred to as a half gallon despite it not being so, but 0.14271 liters shy. Or, 46% of a gallon (92% of a half gallon). A fifth is close enough to being so that that nomenclature is accurate, as far as significant figures dictate.

Very great and informative video! I once read that the dry ingredients shouldn't be too small. Unfortunately, I can't remember exactly why. Chris Trump's videos also only use much larger pieces of the individual ingredients. Do you think that's relevant? I live in Germany, and it's hard for me to get hold of individual ingredients if they have to be a certain size. Smaller pieces are usually not a problem, but larger pieces are.

You won't get anything more out of the herbs after 4weeks. So don't waste time wait just for nothing. You can speed up the process in just few hours at most if you use a distillator as an extractor and alcohol collector.

You can replace vodka with other green solvents to extract non water soluble substances from herbs. Vodka is just not financial sustainable.
