In this episode of the Ketones and Coffee Podcast, host Lorenz welcomes Dr. Thomas Seyfried, a scientist renowned for his pioneering research into cancer and metabolic diseases. Dr. Seyfried, who holds a Ph.D. in Genetics and Biochemistry, discusses his controversial theory that cancer is not a genetic but a mitochondrial metabolic disease.

Dr. Seyfried underscores the inconsistency he found in existing research and the potential of non-toxic therapies like calorie restriction and ketogenic diets to manage cancer. He provides compelling evidence and case studies, arguing for a paradigm shift in cancer treatment. This episode offers listeners an insightful exploration of alternative cancer therapies and the need for a broader acceptance within the medical community.

We can all begin by reducing Omega-6 polyunsaturated fats (linoleic acid) in our diet. Mostly seed oils but also processed food and corn/soy fed mono gastric animals. Also reduce sugar and carbs .

How about using vitamin D also? It inhibits metabolism in mitochondria of Glucose, glutamine and lipids in cancerous cells but not in normal cells. Maybe eat OMAD carnivore ruminant only say at 10AM, then take 50, 000 IU vitamin D3 next day at 10AM, fast rest of day then repeat for two weeks ( or until calcitriol reaches 100ng/ml). Then just eat OMAD with maintenance dose of vitamin D3(about 4000-8, 000 units). Vitamin D3 also acts like the active hormone but at 1/1000 of the dose. So 50, 000 IU vitamin D3 will temporarily add 50 ng/ml for a short time. Calcium levels must be kept low or calcitriol will be reduced by normal complicated mechanisms.

Dr. Thomas Seyfried is the doctor I would trust & listen to but where do we get the treatment. It’s all true but if there’s no help what is the point

Was just at a meeting at Norton Cancer Institute: what the professor said is true--the ppl have to force change because the oncologists are very "comfortable" w the status quo (they want long-term double blind studies [nearly ethically impossible], and then maybe).

Is the approach the same for benign tumours? I can’t understand the lack of urgency when treating benign over cancer? They can still and are have a detrimental effect on the body 🤷🏻‍♀️

My 83 year pld mother's listening to this biologist because of stations like yours. Her blood work numbers are going extremely in the wrong direction. Her oncologists Is warning her not to do this. She's been completely brainwashed by this biologist. Now she doesn't want to do the treatment from the oncologist at the University of Chicago.
If you think I'm just going to sit here and watch her being brainwashed by someone who is absolutely no clinical trials no studies. Just someone talking on a YouTube channel. I promise you this, if you kill my mother I will have a lawsuit on this channel and on this biologist.
