One of the issue is you could not use it outside, so if you live in an apartment with no much space it would be harder to enjoy it

It would have done better being apart of mario cart 8 as an optional extension (Where you had the option to make a custom race around your house or whatever) but since they did it as a standalone game people had less interest since most of them already had mario kart 8 already so there was no need for the other one

I own it and my mom works at my school, everytime I go on a teacher work day and it’s only staff, i bring the Mario(no gates) and drive around with my switch and scare teachers, it’s so much fun and after a year they forget i own it and it gets better. Best investment ever(Im 12).

So I have this and made an entire course with air born sequences and then it was huge took 1 hour to perfectly set it up

At my local GameStop home circuit is $30

$100 sounds fine to me. You get an RC car with a built-in livestreaming camera that syncs to your console. So that's half the cost there. The game then being $50 is a little high but not that bad.

But I don't have a huge living room like they show in the commercial, so I can't set up complex tracks. I'd only be able to do circles because of the turn radius. Not worth it for how little space I have to work with.

Plus there’s a Mario Kart 8 RC Car I got for ~30 bucks and works just fine (just make your own race track from stuff around your house)

This game failed for me personally because of the extremely easy to damage karts.
both of the back wheels were pretty quickly attacked by hairs on the floor and effectively broke them

I have both Mario kart live home circuits but I can’t use because the app is not available at Brazil ( where I live), so I have them until today.
