Correction warrant officer class 1 is the highest enlisted rank. Wo2 is second highest.

I've got a E-3 equivalent mate in the ADF making about $93k AUD not including rental allowance which is another odd $20k AUD in his area. ADF pays handsomely well

Yeah it’s a actually a rule not to talk to the Americans about their pay compared to ours.

in my opinion the adf is probably one of the best militaries to serve in as you get paid 200% more than what the Americans get and they're allied too, with the same benefits (why did I not get notified by youtube for the debate happening below??)

WO2 gets $113, 000 in the first year at paygroup 4. I dont know of an employment category that is PG3. A SGT now earn $100, 000

You got the increments confused with pay grades. Increments go from 0 to 2 depending on rank (ie a Private on has increment 0, while a CPL will have increments 0, 1, 2).

Pay grade (which the author confuses with increments) go from 1 to 10 depending on the job you are in.

A CPL in RAE for example, is on pay grade 6 and will go up 1 increment for every year of seniority until the are on increment 2 (3 Years).

No private except for high skill trades and special forces are on over 100k a year, and the increment's in all cases do not go past 2 (for enlisted) or 3 (for officers).

The 'increment' you're referring to isn't a time-in-rank scale, it's a skill scale.
And it's not an 'increment', it's a grade.

Time-in-rank increments are capped at two or three years in rank, and are only small.

Grades are much greater increases, are based on training, experience and skills attained and differ for each corps/trade across the entire Army, i.e. a fully-qualified Engineer is on a higher pay grade than a fully-qualified Infantryman because their training is at a higher level and is more difficult to attain.

Highest OR rank is WO Class 1, relatively common. Well sort of; there is RSM-A (but there is only one usually)

Highest Rank is General; however that’s only for the Chief of the Defence force (leader of all 3 branches in Aus)

When you retire at 50 you get 60k a year but if you retire at 60 you get 95k at year

I think it’s changed now. In kapooka you get up 64, 500 a year split into 3 months, then for infantry it’s 76 grand which is after kapooka if you choose it.

They start at the same pay rate as a Sgt in the US Army, great deal.

Also our airforce gets paid slightly better, but harder to get into

The highest rank for Enlisted in the army is WOI (Technically it’s RSM/A) not WOII
