UC Health Care Team Celebrates Discharge of 76 Year Old COVID-19 Survivor

Gary Campbell, a healthy, active 76-year-old, tested positive for COVID-19 after a trip to the Emergency Department at UC Health’s West Chester Hospital. He was admitted that day and soon was placed on a ventilator in the intensive care unit (ICU). Gary spent 45 days battling the virus. When he was finally discharged, he was met with cheering clinicians, staff and a 14-car caravan of family members.
