Unfortunately where I live in Canada there is no longer enough snow in February. Winterlude was fun as a kid!

In America (especially the south) we're more like:
"Let's take the hottest, stickiest, most humid month of the year and plan to have wedding then! Make sure the bridal party and all the guests have to wear their stuffiest, heaviest, formal clothes! Oh, and let's do this outside!"

We have the longest outdoor skating rink in the world. The Rideau Canal. Very cold good times.

I had a show in Calgary Alberta in December. When i got back to the hotel it was so cold i slept between the mattresses.

In Alaska we have Fur Rondy in February! The smaller towns have Cabin Fever Reliever. Not all of America sits inside in the cold. We have ice sculpting and even carnival rides.
