I agree with Voight, her staying in intelligence despite being a new detective does have some strings attached to it but if anyone deserves that promotion, its got to be her considering she went through a lot in this job.

Kim Burgess has been through so much on the show that she really deserved to be promoted to Detective. She's had the most challenges going from patrol to intelligence, and she's also the one who's suffered the most from so much misfortune over the years.

About damn time! I have been rooting for Kim to get promoted first followed by Kev and Adam! I hope Marina stays on the show forever and becomes the next Olivia Benson, it would be really interesting to watch her go from patrol to to detective, senior detective and slowly sergeant and in charge of intelligence one day maybe in like 7 years time or something lol
