Awesome multi view. Had to listen to “Boosters Indgnshishn” many times. Dude was excited! An amazing vehicle!

If you start about 7:20 and watch to the end of that VAB located shot, over on the right, in the parking lot, you can see numerous car alarms activate in the last second or two of the shot. Made me laugh.

This was absolutely spectacular to see in person. We were about 12 miles away, and both the light spectacle and sound were amazing. Even at 12 miles you could feel it in your chest and the ground. My wife said something like, "that's loud", when it was fairly low, and I said, 'just wait". I was having to talk pretty loudly for her to hear me across the street.

I saw SatVs as a kid at the Cape, both from on property and far side of the Indian River, same as we were here, and a few Shuttle launches from those points, as well. My favorite Shuttle launch was one we went over to see that launched just pre-dawn, and when it broke into the sunlight it was glorious.

We only live a bit less than 40 miles from the pads, so we go out front to watch launches quite often. We went over for the last Falcon Heavy, which didn't launch, and seems to be getting moved back every other week, I think it's like Feb now, IIRC. Looking forward to the next Artemis launch, this one at night was special in that regard, as well.

I was fascinated as a 6 year old watching Apollo 11 launch in 1969, 53 years later I'm just as excited, what an awesome machine!

This is sooo funny! He was so excited he couldn’t even talk right! “Boosters ingednition”! That’s going to be remembered forever. 🙂 Love you excited launch dude! You’re epic. I understand. I loved it too!

7:01 - What a beautiful view of the sun rising over the VAB. Wait... That's not the sun!

I waited 10 years for this

The sls was stable in pitch, yaw and roll

All the functions worked properly, this proved how reliable sls can be and shows the real problem with the scrubs from previous attempts. The cause of the scrubs is the tower itself. Besides that we got a rocket with a rating…. 9.5/10 of the rocket ranks which ties with the Saturn v on my list

The exhaust size was insane. I didn't realize how big it was till I saw this video.

The SRB's ignition is like the gates of hell opening up. I thought NASA wasn't going to use SRB's on any manned rockets after the Space Shuttle design, SRB's are amazing until they go wrong.

3:02 with this veiw, you can see a gigantic pressure wave vapor cone formed by the Solid Rocket Boosters. Now that is power!

When he said core stage engines start I was starting to cry and when he said “We rise together to the moon and beyond” I was crying of joy because I now I will be alive for the second moon landing

I feel kind of bad for the announcer, who will probably have to hear himself say "boosters inngnishn" even more times than we just did.

All that fire and drama of the boosters thundering and shaking the cameras and in the background the calm, informed, reassuring tone from the lady commentator.

2:50 is probably the most epic... plume after plume rising up closer and closer to the camera!

This guy saying "initiated" all jumbled by emotion is something that will go down in history!

Reminds me of the space shuttle era of my childhood. Glad to finally be pursuing space again!
