CLOUDY AND PEARLY! 😍 GORGEOUS ACRYLIC POUR PAINTING - Painting with Acrylics

CLOUDS AND PEARLS???!!!! What do YOU think of this acrylic pour painting? I love the naturals tones in this painting!

I've played with a few different pouring mediums throughout the years and I'm delighted to say that I am over the moon with my DIY Pouring Medium! It is soooooo versatile. I LOVE the transparency it adds to my pours! Gives so much depth. Another win is being able to mix my TLP Pigments 🐷🐷🐷 (or my studio spices as I call them) straight into the Pouring Medium (I do wet them down first with my PM)! The PM dries crystal clear and the recipe is so forgiving. If you have been following me over the years you know I DON'T measure!!! I'm not the type. I don't measure when I'm cooking either 🤷‍♀️. Recipe is roughly 25% Golden regular gel gloss and 75% flood floetrol. That is it! I then add the PM to my paint until the paint is flow ready... then depending on technique I'll thin the paint down with water.

DIY POURING MEDIUM:
Approximately 25% Golden Regular Gloss Gel 75% USA FLOOD FLOETROL

CLOUD MIX:
1 Part Deco Art Satin Enamel mixed with 1 Part Amsterdam Opaque Acrylic Color (I usually use Titanium Buff light)
AFTER the enamel and acrylic paint is mixed together add 1 part DIY Pouring medium

Wow Erica youre such a consistent artist who never lets us down even when going old school.
If you looks at the wet paiting around 9min28sec the many white pearls look attached to the the greyish- white cloudy effects under them, making it look BEYOND 3D like as if we can see 5 inches into the inside of the painting!! What a COOL effect; I love all your art. I LOVE the variety. I lived in the UK for a few years and visited Ireland. I missed products from NA but now I miss the English ones hahahah.(Its was in 90s early so not as calm as today) but with the economy etc the whole world needs a chill out hobby! So cool that you do from there. Wish I could visit London even. But this community IS GLOBAL now so its great to be able to tell YOU thanks for the IDEAS!!!
