I thought there was an ad playing in the background, I was wrong. Seems they missed out on a really good advert.

Look, I'm all for women in the RAF. Half the country is female, that's a large demographic but ads like these are patronising shite.

this video is bloody brilliant, very clever and good concept, as an ex film school student and follower of this channel i take off my hat to whoever developed this film.

Really rather offensive. “Join the RAF - we don’t break employment law”. Compelling

Every role in the RAF is open to everyone (except white men). 🤣🤣

I bet the RAF won't even give a definition for "Woman".

Don’t understand why they’re now only targeting women only with these adverts, it’s quite strange.

Normally I hate the agenda behind these ads but in this case it made me laugh so I'll give it to them this time

Women have a lower fitness requirement. EQUALITY. Also, did the RAF use bits of other adverts for the audio over?

"WoMeN sHoUlD bE dEfInEd By AcTiOnS nOt CliChÈs." - Nobody said women couldn't join the RAF. Jesus, I'm so sick of these Adverts & there deluded & outdated messages that women are still oppressed and hard done by. 🙄🤦🏻‍♂️

RAF seem to only be interested in fulfilling certain quotas at the moment, I went to an afco and was basically told that grades are the only thing that matter, even if you have practical experience and a willingness to commit for the 12 year contract some roles have, it is still less then having a levels.

I'm not saying that there shouldn't be requirements as each role is different from the next however I also feel that individual circumstances should also be taken into account.

For example, I grew up in an unstable house hold, Ill parent, hated school, ice skated from 7 till 12 and obtained gold, got my scuba diving open water certificate at 10 and started flying light aircraft at 13 when I first took, the controls of a tiger moth at IWM Duxford.

I went back to school in year 10 but got given the stupid treatment meaning I was stuck in classes that guaranteed I would not get the grades I needed. So I left again then found an alternate school in year 11 that focused on actually helping people, did 8 months on half days got 7 gcses and actually liked school for once.

In that time I was also getting a PPL, Got that a year later. I now have a love for flying that is awesome. It's like being free and flying such old aircraft makes me feel like I'm keeping history alive.

Anyway, I was told that there was a waiting time for flight training and that competition was fierce, something I already knew. I was flat out told that it didn't matter that I had a pilots license.

This is something I find slightly annoying, it shows a proven ability to be taught multiple subjects and succeed, it shows an ability to fly, navigate, communicate and solve problems but no, a levels are more important.

I feel the reason the armed services are lacking people is because of quotas, being PC and not giving individuals with alternative but relevant skills the opportunity to demonstrate their worth.

This is the best advert I've ever seen

Didnt expect the raf to fall into political correctness. The old ads did the job just fine.

Lol @ all the 15 year old boys in the comments getting mad because playing 8 hours of fortnite every day doesn't qualify them to join the RAF and because of that it's the women's fault

“Every role in the RAF is open to everyone”. Yeah that’s not true. I’m a 21 year old male who trains 400-800m but I’m not fit enough to join as I had asthma when I was 15 :))

Brilliant idea for an ad, and perfectly executed.
