Just what i was looking for, thanks! This might be asking too much, but, say I go through all that, and later I decide I want to add another instrument into the same instance of kontakt, is there an easy way to just drop in another instrument and have it appear in logic? Or do I just have to create another mixer track, and go through the same steps?

Your method worked for me for many years but suddenly it has stopped working, I am so confused. After doing all your steps I can hear each individual Kontakt instrument on each track in Logic, but only the first track actually records the notes. All the other ones do not record the notes. I don't understand why this is happening.

Thanks a Lot. It does not bounce in place.. i tried exporting them as audio files.. it exported empty files ..only the softaware instrument could get bounced..

Good tutorial, I've actually managed to do that already. There's just one problem. When I use, let's say, instrument #3 in the rack and want to edit it while playing sounds. The moment I turn a knob in the Kontakt window, it immediately switches to my Kontakt channel where only Instrument #1(the default) is playing. So I wish it was possible to just click the header of one instrument to hear it play. Is that possible? I've seen people do it before but I just can't figure it out. I'm using FL Studio by the way. Hope you can help me.

I thought this was gonna answer my query. The problem is if after setting this up as you instruct, you select more than one instrument, it doesn't play those instruments together. It just plays one. I haven't as yet found a way to play more than one multi timbral Kontakt instrument together.
