North Korea's Dangerous Border: Alone To The DMZ - South and North Korea border tour

I am in Seoul, South Korea and I would like to visit the nearby border between South and North Korea. You can join tourist tours that start in Seoul and go to the border. But, I am not a big fan of such tourist tours. They put you in a bus in Seoul, drive you to the border, and you return to Seoul in the evening. I rather go on a border adventure and also stay in a hotel close to the North Korea border. So, join me on this trip to the DMZ, the demilitarized zone that separates South Korea and North Korea. Let's find out what's it like to visit the DMZ and the border between these two countries.

Ken, I remember the fall of the Berlin Wall very well. At that time, I was fifteen, and I felt like I was witnessing history being made. Today, it might seem difficult for Korea to reunite, but I hope that bad things will never happen and that the lives of Korean people will be calm and peaceful all the time.
Thank you for the great video, Ken!

I truly appreciate your great effort to show us the border of South and North Korea. This is in fact a very informative, knowledgeable and interesting video. I'm pretty sure not many of us could visit this DMZ. A massive thanks for bringing me/us along. Bravo, Ken 💪

Ken, I've travelled to many cities around Korea, and being a fan of your videos for the past 3 years, you have to trust me on this. I'm pretty sure you're already planning to visit Busan (it's amazing and I prefer it to Seoul), but you'll absolutely love GYEONGJU.

I know for a fact that you'll love it. It's also nearby Busan, I hope to see a video of you in Gyeongju soon!

You are an intrepid traveler. I appreciate how you go off the beaten path or try to avoid tour groups during your travels. I laughed when you booked the hourly hotel - dodgy indeed. Safe travels.

I also hope that these two countries will unite one day

You cracked me up - your moment of realization of having booked that type of hotel in that type of area. I’m not sure if I would have turned around and gone back into the city. Thank you for being adventurous for us and letting us share your adventures. Keep being curious.

You keep saying ‘small town’ but to me, this place has multi-story hotels and apartments and buildings - that’s a city to me! Thanks for the video!!!

Great to see Ken going to places that regular tourists don't go to. Would be very interesting if he could visit North Korea.

Thanks for sharing this vlog. It's very interesting stuff to watch. You have explained the needed information in detail.
I'm amaze how you always choose the "hard-way" to explore interesting places.
Stay safe and healthy in Korea.
