Summary:

Ines put the pieces on the board, but let them play themselves. She wants a divorce and doesn’t care who she hurts in the process. Now, she is dealing with two lifetimes worth of trauma, but that doesn’t excuse her attitude.

The creepy lady is a stalker who thought carcel’s…. Excitement was towards her, not ines. She’s also a stalker and wants to be Ines so that Carcel will want her.

Carcel was slut because he was in love with Ines as a child, thought she suddenly was rejecting him as a young teen, went on a rebellious phase to try to hurt her by sleeping with as many women as possible, and when Ines said she didn’t love him, it made him realize he needed to marry her to hurt her, he became infatuated with her shortly after, and now he’s genuinely falling for her. Again, does not excuse his actions. And quite frankly, Ines didn’t give 💩💩 that Carcel was cheating. She’s just disappointed he didn’t continue.

None of them are good people, but Ines just wants to be free and happy. And Carcel is trying to do better to keep her. If they end up together, I’ll be happy, but if they don’t, it will also be a satisfying ending. Just different.

Why are terrible people as the leads so hard for readers to understand and accept? Why do y’all need take sides in this? It’s infuriating.

Looking at those comments, i know they're children. Their engagement is started because of Ines, their relationship start due to political reasoning too. He didn't ask for it, but instead he's the one who falling in love first and tried to make their relationship work. What of he sleep with other women before their marriage, when they're engaged they're not even in love and ines is the one who makes him one. Ill only call it cheating if ines mad bout it, but no. No matter what everyone says and no matter how much I try, I honestly cannot justify Ines manipulating Carcel from the childhood. She was a years old soul in a child body and he was a child. Brainwashing is something not just anyone can do to a child. I neither like Carcel 's cheating, nor I like Ines's manipulation. No matter how much you suffered, you can't hurt or manipulate someone innocent.What She didn't want others to do to her, then she doesn't do that exact thing to another person. Now if someone tried to manipulate Ines, she wouldn't like that. Would she?! Ines has severe trauma from her past lives, but her always playing that victim cards always gets on my nerves. i heard somewhere than in a preveous life that neither of them can remember, they were actually in love. but the prince took an interest in her and sent the blond guy to war were he died or was suppose to die. the FL gets sick after and is slowly dying. the ML comes back but is too late to help. they both died wishing for a chance to actually be happy together. thats when the regression cycle started. thats what i heard at least. not sure if its true.

People really hate Ines for no reason with this. She has essentially died twice due to love and now when she finally tries to be free another man comes into to try and woo her. Of course she wants to leave, I would too. She owes nothing to this man and does not have to accept his love. Ines isn't that great of a person either obviously, but acting like anyone in this broken relationship is good is a lie. Carcel was an aggressive cheater, Ines used him, and at the end of the day they are both awful, but I will give ines a bit of slack as she has already lived two lives worth of suffering so who wouldn't be broken after that. Frankly I am surprised she didn't go insane.
