Live Update | Police believe missing child, Quinton Simon, is dead; names mother prime suspect

The Chatham County Police Department said they believe the 20-month old is deceased. They have named his mother, Leilani Simon, as the prime suspect in his disappearance and death. They have not made any arrests in the case.

im sorry but this shit is getting old. its always "this kid slipped thru the cracks of cps" NO. HE. DIDNT. MULTIPLE people reported this family to cps. once again cps did nothing. and once again a child is dead bc of their negligence . start charging these case workers who overlook and ignore children in need as harshly as the parents. they knew and did nothing. just as guilty.

the police haven’t provided any evidence of death and the mother isn’t under arrest. so all they’ve done is declare the mother guilty in the court of the public.

Why did the grandmother who has full custody of him leave him in an unsafe enviroment? So unsafe the state had given the grandmother custody. So unsafe the grandmother evicted her daughter. Then the grandmother lashes out with physical violence on the neighborh and also admiting knowing her daughter us a habitual drug abuser. That's why the charges haven't been issued yet, because the dead child was in custody of the grandmother who was suppose to monitor and protect him from his drug addled mama..and she failed.
