Zones: A map of relationship types to help relieve dating confusion

"Zones" is a brief outline of what men and women value in each other. Named after the "friend zone," I have expanded "box theory" (and made a few corrections) in order to divide relationship types into "zones."

Both men and women can use "Zones" as a handy guide to understand why their relationships are functioning the way they are, and to make better choices.

For women: If you're not his "keeper," and you can't improve on what he wants from you, he just isn't that into you. Move on, or stay sidelined.

For men: If you're stuck in the "friend zone," you need to learn to be a man. It's not just looks, but fitness, success, power, and personality that make women excited. It's up to you to create that for yourself, or you can't complain.

Both men and women can use the "Zones" map as a quick and easy way to figure out why their relationships work the way they do, find out how to improve them, and either make these improvements happen, or move on if they can't.

I'm a psychology student, I wrote my bachelor's degree thesis about mating strategies, sex role differences, initiation of relationships etc. from an evolutionary psychological perspective, and I have to say that atleast 90% of this videos content can be backed up by scientific data.

I'm a 30 year old guy who has been in a reasonable amount of relationships/sitautionships in my time. I've been an avid consumer of dating advice from many sources all over the place in that time, and this is the one SINGLE source that i've seen that flatly lays out what basically EVERY OTHER dating advice source attempts to explain - but usually in a more partial manner. Just as a PSA for the guys: Being a 'bad boy' is completely subjective and depends on demographics like age, culture and personal history. For example: If an attractive 23 yr old American woman had more than 10+ relationships, her standards of 'bad boy' will be much more difficult to achieve than a sexually naïve 18 year old woman, a 30+ year old woman who wants stability, or even a woman of particular faith / collectivist society where attractiveness is a plus rather than a deal breaker. This extreme emphasis on particularity is predominantly an individualistic country issue and should not sway you to drastically change who you are just to find someone to be compatible with.

I'm an interface design student and I gotta say I'm highly impressed by this visualisation. I really think you got something here, because it does not only look good and is easy to understand, it makes a lot of sense. What you did is not easy. You visualised something complex into an eays understandable visualisation. I also feel like this has potential to become something more. Either an app, a data visualisation article or a book even.
