My wife and I had a business lunch with my bank manager—a very sweet lady who works in a new, six-story bank building where there’s a Coffee Zone Bistro on the first floor. It was drizzly that day with temps in the low 50s—and when my bank manager sat down to lunch with us, I couldn’t help noticing her peep-toe, sling back pumps—and I couldn’t help wondering how she managed to keep her feet warm and dry, wearing shoes like those on such a cold & wet & “yucky” day. She said she wore her rain boots to work and changed INTO those beautiful shoes B-4 she started.

Those boots you’re wearing in this video look AWESOME; I’m simply making the point that there’s another way to wear rain boots to the office: Wear them en route, then change into different footwear B-4 U start your shift. There are those who wear stylish boots to and from work, taking them off after they get home at the end of the work day—and there are those who are comfortable enough in boots to wear them any time of year, even when the weather outside ISN’T cold & wet & “yucky.” There was this one lady who used to work at my bank; she retired two years ago, but she LOVED boots! She once showed up to work wearing black Ropers on a hot spring day, and there were times when she would wear her black Ropers when it was pouring rain outside. She could still wear them comfortably, as long as she had socks on.

What do you normally wear with those rubber boots? Can you wear them with nylons? Maybe a comfortable pair of cotton socks would protect your feet from developing callouses.
